Our lion was inspired by Cecil the Lion of Hwange National Park in Matebeleland North, Zimbabwe.  Cecil had the courage to break from the ‘norm’ and explore new territory to establish his own pride.

Though Cecil is no longer with us may you embrace Cecil’s energy of strength, tenacity and the courage to explore and establish.

As you embark on a new journey, may you embody the characteristics of this incredibly beloved lion. To lead, establish (whether it be personal or career related) and know when to fight for what you believe in and know is right. Lions pick their battles and this animal offers the opportunity  to temper or moderate any aggressive impulses. Lion energy inspires the wearer to express their needs constructively to reduce one’s level of frustration and allows others (the pride) to know what the lion wants as the lion is their leader.

Wild Tomorrow Fund is a wildlife conservation charity working to save wildlife and wild spaces in Southern Africa.

For every sterling silver Cecil the Lion sold, $15 CAD will go back to Wild Tomorrow Fund to support Wild Tomorrow Fund’s lion protection work. This includes human-lion conflict prevention initiatives and lion monitoring in South Africa, Mozambique and Namibia.

A major focus is supporting the “Walking for Lions” project in Namibia which is actively researching current locations of free roaming wild lions (living outside protected national parks) in relation to communities, in order to understand and mitigate their conflict with people.

These wearable works of art can be exhibited in numerous ways whether adorning your body, personal items such as a key chain or on the zipper of your favourite jacket. 'Connecting animals to people' is made possible through our Circle of Life Clasp adorned with Mr. Farnum's seal of approval, his foot print. Each toe of Mr. Farnum's footprint lovingly represents the animals from Land, Air and Water.

The Circle of Life Clasp allows you the wearer to connect to any appropriate necklace, bracelet, keychain or item where your animal charm would appreciated.
