In a far away place called Prince Edward County, a fox peeked around a tree to see if the farmer’s field was safe to explore. One can never be too carefree even on a bright blue moon night.
According to her ancestors, she recalled that a blue moon was a moon with powerful energy to help balance the scales of energy in one’s life whether it be to let go of fear, guilt, or emotions that no longer serve you.
She saw the moon’s ray beaming down as if it had magic cascading from the moon itself to a spot in the open fallow field. Intrigued by the light, she stepped into the twinkling space and her beautiful red coat transformed into a blue, silvery colour like the moon. As she looked up from her coat, Mr. Farnum magically appeared saying with a warm heart, “Hello, Lady Coddington! The other animals and I have been waiting for you! On this blue moon, I am reminding you of your creative spirit and ask that you trust and embrace your discernment when it comes to opportunity. Now go forth, use your creativity to help the other animals in your community in their daily decisions or large projects. I hear, Al the Beaver, could use your consult on the new dam he is building.”
As Mr. Farnum was fading into the moonlight, Lady Coddington bowed and welcomed the opportunity to nurture her friends for this blue moon allowed her to let go; to let go and be.
