Located in a parallel universe to ours is a barn where a little pig had a dream to dance. How did the seed to dance get planted in her head?
There was a barnkeeper who was a teenage girl named Grace and she used to love watching old black and white musicals on the telly. This one particular day the little pig heard Grace humming a melodic sound that brought a smile to the piglet’s face. Curious, she peered above the fence to see Grace dancing with a broom in the barn. Each step Grace took was smooth and light as if she was floating just ever so slightly above the floor. The piglet didn’t know where the words came from but her heart warmed with beauty and joy. When Grace saw that the little pig was watching her, she politely leaned the broom against the barn wall and scooped up the little pig in her arms and danced. Now the both of them were twirling around the barn and floating with light hearts.
As the piglet grew into a pig, she came to be known as Gracie, the barnkeeper’s little dancing sidekick. Together they dance, experience joy through music and teach the other animals how to move their feet to, of course, dance! In this parallel universe, Mr. Farnum knows that Gracie is a bright light for the other animals. How could she not be seeing pig is an acronym for Pretty Intelligent Girl.
